Location: Staunton River Memorial Library, 500 Washington St, Altavista, VA
Description: Campbell County Public Library would like to invite children ages 5 and up to the “Paws to Read” program. Paws to Read is a very simple concept. Children read to “Cody the Library Dog” in a positive nonthreatening and fun environment. Cody listens and doesn’t tease, laugh or joke at the child. Many children have already benefited from the program and the opportunity to read to such a non-critical, caring listener!

Children can come to the Staunton River Memorial Library every Thursday from 3:30 ~ 4:30 and read to Cody. This program is free of charge and is open to the public.

Registration is not required to attend Paws to Read.
