"To soothe the pizza burn on the roof of your mouth, grab a can of Reddi-wip
and fill your mouth with the whipped cream. With your tongue, press the Reddi-wip
against the roof of your mouth to coat the lesion. You can also use Domino Sugar
to coat your tongue for burns by pizza, soup or hot coffee or tea."

"For centuries, the aloe vera plant, has been known as the miracle plant. Aloe
vera is used in burn treatment centers all over the world. At home you can
cut the plant leaf open and use the gel from it to help heal many things such
as: sunburn, burns, razor cuts, reddness from shaving, scars, and face or neck
burns from a curling iron. Besides burns, it is also good for cuts and the gel
helps stop the bleeding. You can also use it on mosquito or small insect bites
to stop the itching. My mother who is 89 years old has been using it on her face
at night for years to give her face a youthful look and people that know her
tell her she looks 25 years younger.
Aloe vera gel bought from a health food store (can be mixed with fruit juices
for a better taste) helps digestion and in the elimination of waste from our
bodies (did I say that nicely?). If I had to have only one natural medicine at
my house, it would be an aloe vera plant. When I am not using it as a cure it
makes for a beautiful house plant."

Oregano - According to the North American Herb and Spice Pharmacy in Buffalo Grove,
Illinois, the common spice oregano has stopped Anthrax and the H5N1 virus in a lab study.
Apparently, the seasoning that is in nearly every pantry across the US,
can be safely used to fight winter holiday germs too. Even the White House
has inquired about the research being done on oregano oil. Scientists have
been able to successfully destroy deadly microbes, killing viruses like the
Avian Bird Flu in their lab with the simple pizza sauce ingredient!
Glucosamine - Chronic pain is major health problem here in the United States.
More than 40 million Americans suffer from some form of arthritis,
and many have chronic pain that limits daily activity. Osteoarthritis is by
far the most common form of arthritis, affecting about 16 million Americans,
while rheumatoid arthritis, which affects about 2.1 million Americans, is the
most crippling form of the disease.
“Many people find that glucosamine helps them out tremendously,” says Mary Beth Watkins,
President of the American Association of Homeopathic Pharmacists.
“People looking for natural treatments of arthritis and other joint
pain are turning to glucosamine to help them improve the quality of their lives.”
In fact, a recent study by the U.S. government showed that glucosamine is
effective in reducing the pain of knee arthritis. “Glucosamine is a
clinically proven natural alternative to arthritic pain relievers,” says
Watkins. “It’s perfect for people who are involved with physical activities,
athletes, and pretty much anyone who has put extra strain on their joints over
the years." (This statement has not been evaluated be the Food and Drug Administration.)
